FRIEND WORD OF THE DAY
Today’s word goes out to a great supporter and friend of the WordBloom Team – Zack. His name is spelled in a slightly more modern way but his story is pretty much the same as the Bible Zacchaeus. Zacchaeus dedicated his life to God upon meeting Christ, made it right with everyone he ever wronged and never looked back. He lived his life for God – boldly.
Zack was a member of Northwest Church in Acworth, GA. In his 30s, he was a family man and a hard worker. He had grown in his faith to the point where he was a bold disciple of Christ, never failing to share his beliefs with anyone who asked. Kind-hearted, eager to help and always ready with a kind word. Even those who follow Christ faithfully (we see this with the Apostles) do not always have an easy go of it. In a cruel, random happenstance, a disgruntled employee from his workplace walked into the business one day and shot Zack seven times. A strong man, Zack survived the encounter. Such events cause people to talk about the “man who was” and his powerful testimony. It is an easy story to tell. A short, tough guy finds Christ and ends up a short, tough guy with a bold faith.
Join the WordBloom Team in a quick prayer and then go read the story of Zacchaeus (the Bible story is to the left of the bloom).
