NON-SURETY WORD OF THE DAY

When we hear “equity“, we quickly think of ownership or interest held in some property or investment. Funny, that is not how the Bible uses the word. Equity in the Bible is more like the idea of “fair or equitable” than the idea of “interest.” There is a varied bloom of related words like level, plain (as in a land feature), correctly, fair, and agreement. Probably the oddest sounding relative is the word “sweetly” used to describe how well and fairly the worm will feed on bodies of those who unfair.
