DEEP SLEEP WORD OF THE DAY?
We often hear of people in a “dead sleep” or being “dead asleep.” Those terms actually find some of their roots in Biblical literature. The WordBloom team found a root to those phrases in today’s word – dead. Dead is related to Monday’s word of the day: sleep. The Bible often uses a variation of sleep, like asleep or sleeping, to indicate death or the temporary resting of the body before the resurrection. Check it out here.
