SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE  WORD OF THE DAY

Some may argue, perhaps rightly, that the church is not responsible to solve social issues. The Bible, however, makes no bones that individuals must be socially responsible. Take a quick look at the word glean and find that each person was to leave something for the poor and the stranger. Gleaning is getting the final part of the harvest or gathering after the crop.
