DIFFERENT WORD OF THE DAY

It started as a teenager’s hunt for ice cream and resulted in finding a word that is used differently by three generations of Bible translators. Cream doesn’t appear in the KJV or NASB. Instead, you will find butter and curds. Curds isn’t a common word for the current generation and could easily find itself phonetically mistaken for a people group name. Language use is generational and when teaching many generations, it is helpful to have a wider set of translations.

Now you know why the WordBloom team chose that classic King James, the more modern word for word New American Standard, and the very contemporary New Century translations for our first version. Look for more translations coming very soon.
