short-sgihted

NEARSIGHTED WORD OF THE DAY

Do you struggle seeing things in the distance? If so, an eye doctor can probably help. However, if you have trouble with being spiritually short sighted and find yourself missing the direction, then God has provided a simple answer in 2 Peter 1:5-8.  The once used phrase, short-sighted (NASB 2 Peter 1:9), predicts the outcome of missing verses 5-8.

The ancient phrase most literally means “to shut the face” which is akin to blink and is also only used once in the original Bible (the same verse). If you are interested, the King James translates the ancient phrase “cannot see afar off” while the New Century reads “cannot see clearly”.
