CROWN WORD OF THE DAY

Recently, a Wordbloom Bible Study Team member was studying Isaiah after hearing the song “Beauty for Ashes.” Looking up Isaiah 61:3 was easy enough and then he noticed in the Bible panes that the New American Standard used “garland” instead of “beauty.” The New Century used “crown.” Now curious, he hovered over the definition (grey node) attached to beauty to find that the word can mean tiara or crown. Clicking on beauty revealed many traditional and less traditional definitions.

Sometimes you find something entirely unexpected when you go to find what the Bible has to say.
