cross

CROSSOVER WORD OF THE DAY

The idea of crossing over was used long before the crucifixion of Christ to foreshadow the deliverance of God’s people from less to more, worse to better, and from sin to life. As the Easter season draws near, cross becomes a word of increasing focus. It was at the cross of Christ’s crucifixion that cross crossed over from a noun to a verb and completed this word transformation. The cross represents the atonement of all man’s sin and it was at this cross that God bought man’s ability to cross over from death to life, to cross over from hell to heaven.

Check out the verses attached to cross. Look for the foreshadowing. Look for the fulfillment.
