CONTEMPORARY WORD OF THE DAY

Certain words that are very common to us are rarely used in older translations. Today’s word, success, is a great example. Success is used one time in the KJV, 7 times in the NASB (1960s – 1980s) and 31 times in the NCV (late 20th century). When you find a contemporary word, you may find it interesting to click one of the verses in the contemporary version to learn what word the older translation uses. This practice will broaden you skill and understanding of the Bible.
