ANCIENT WORD WEDNESDAY
A college student recently set up her own version of an altar of remembrance much like the Israelites did to remember the glory and greatness of the Lord their God. The focus of the remembrance was an Hebrew word written phonetically as “gadar.” Gadar is related to the verbs wall in, wall around, close up, fence up, hedge, inclose, and make up. Related Biblical nouns are mason and repairer.
