lonely

HOME AGAIN WORD OF THE DAY

One of our WordBloom team members just returned from a Mexico mission trip singing, “I’ve been to the desert on a horse with no name. It felt good to be out of the rain…” Those lines were from his first record purchase titled “A Horse with No Name” by America. He was telling us that though he would love to live in the majestic desert northwest of Monterrey, he didn’t know if he could handle the isolation.  He was glad for the work but glad to be home again.

His words ring true in God’s Word. By our very nature, Christians are drawn to fellowship and only a very few are gifted to live alone. What does the Bible say about the lonely?
