A BOOST search tells the Search Box that a certain word in a list of items is more important. And the BOOST factor tells it how much more important. BOOST factors are added to search terms with the carat (^ found over the number “6” key). To search for verses with “love” and/or “God” where you are more interested in the occurrence of “love”, you could enter AS: love^4 God. This will search for both terms putting 4 times more emphasis on the word “love”; so, a verse with more “love” while still having God will appear higher in the rankings.
Try it with God (AS: love God^4) and notice how the first verse has two “God” and only one “love”.
