SNOW AND ICE WORD OF THE DAY

Today’s word goes out to all those Americans just south of the Mason Dixon Line that have found themselves not-so-prepared and buried in 6-12 inches of snow. No snow tires and little experience result in 360s and power-slides for many Southerners. The South is just not very prepared for the challenge of snow.

Closing schools, malls and businesses before it even starts snowing may seem silly to the experienced Northerner, but the inexperienced Southerner is thinking about what ill can befall them. It is this way with Christianity, when we head toward new challenges in life we should be prepared or, at least, prudent lest we slide.

By the way, all of these thoughts were the result of a fun search by a Bible Study Team member trapped in the storm.  Check out the bloom – the words are great.
