OVERLOOKED WORD OF THE DAY
If you think today’s word is spelled incorrectly, you will find yourself incorrect. Cieled is an older English word used in the King James that means cover, over, overlaid, or paneled. In the Bible, cieled, and its synonyms, are used almost exclusively in regard to architecture or craftsmanship. Probably most familiar is the “cieled houses” that the people in Malachi lived in while God’s house of worship lay in waste.
Can you find an exception to the architecture theme?
