OVERSTAY WORD OF THE DAY
Ever had houseguests that just wouldn’t go away? While the laws of courtesy for many nations over the generations dictated that guests were to be treated with grace and service, some guests seem to get too comfortable. Have you ever dropped hint after hint hoping that someone would get the message and go home? Has it ever gotten so bad that you simply went to bed and left them in the living room? Today’s word describes those people and you. “Yashen” is Hebrew for overstay and make to sleep. It can also mean store until stale or be slack and languid. No matter how you define it – yashen is the overstay word of the day.
