EMBASSY WORD OF THE DAY

If you have travelled much, or even better, if you have sponsored a foreign mission effort then you know the value of an embassy.  Many people think of embassies as places of refuge but they provide a much greater purpose in foreign policy and trade.  You may see the similarity to ambassador in today’s word of the day.  Ambassage is a Biblical word for a delegation such as would be sent to run an embassy, to be responsible for foreign relations or act on behalf of a king.
