LAZY MONDAY WORD OF THE DAY

A simple search for a lazy Monday results in the dream of many – sleep.  Sleep is a big bloom and, though there are many different uses of the word in the Bible, there isn’t one we like as much as “to lie down to rest and fall asleep”.  Check out sleep after your second cup of joe but don’t get any crazy ideas – the boss is watching.

The Greek word for sleep that we referenced above is kathuedo: NT2518.  You can search for modern words, ancient words and Strong’s Dictionary Numbers.  With WordBloom you may never need to know what a Strong’s Number is but scholars have been using Strong’s Dictionary and his numbering system to learn about, understand and link ancient definitions to contemporary words in the Bible.  Add OT to any Strong’s Old Testament number to search for it in WordBloom and the WordBloom Biblical Thesaurus.
