SOUND IT OUT WORD OF THE DAY

Today’s word of the day comes directly from our Data Department – where study, research, and fun all seem to collide. Sometimes words are expressions of sounds of actions.  Our data department thinks it is funny that the English version of the Hebrew word for sneeze kind of sounds like a sneeze.  Say it quickly now – “atiyshah.”

Yes.  The data guys and gals know that this once used (Job 41:18), uncommon root (OT5846) for sneeze isn’t really the sound of a sneeze.
