IT’S TIME TO HANG OUT WORD OF THE DAY
We’re not meant to be solitary creatures. We need the support of others to accomplish our goals, to suffer through challenging times and to help us celebrate our victories. When J.R.R. Tolkien wrote “The Fellowship of the Ring,” he wrote about people from disparate backgrounds coming together to support each other to complete a fantastic task. Each person had individual skills, but together they were…a family of sorts. The word “fellowship,” in most parts of the world, means to bring forth food, conversation and a smile. The Biblical use of fellowship relates to a gathering of people together in a strong family bond, but it’s Greek root means “to contribute or communicate.” So bring the food, a good word and a smile and share them with your fellows.
