bottomless

DEEPER WORD OF THE DAY

Have you ever eaten with a teenager and wondered where they put all that food? Tis’ the season of bottomless pit eating with pies, turkey, brisket and all the fixings.  As always, bottomless in the Bible has meanings of Biblical proportions ranging from the tame, immeasurable depth, to the wild, the underworld or the abode of the dead. As if yesterday’s word (abyss) wasn’t deep enough, bottomless is used to define the pit of the abyss. So that’s where all those kids are putting that food!
