DID YOU KNOW IT? WORD OF THE DAY

We are sure that you know but if you asked us, we would never have guessed.  The word holiday is in the Bible and, no, it isn’t just in some contemporary version.  The New American Standard uses holiday four times and in the New Century only once.  Check it out! The King James version uses “feast” as the equivalent.

It funny how most people believe that things like holidays are our creation but there really isn’t anything new under the sun!
